Want to become a Driving Instructor?

Teaching others a new skill is rewarding, teaching others to drive is extremely rewarding as you're teaching them a new skill that can dramatically change there life, giving them independence and career prospects.

There is currently a massive shortage of good qualified driving instructors within the Falmouth / Penryn area and many other areas throughout Cornwall. With all the main instructors fully booked with long waiting lists, many learners are finding it difficult to find an instructor in the area.

To receive payment for teaching someone to drive you must be registered with the DVSA and have passed the 3 qualifying exams or be on a trainee licence.

Why us

A little about me, I'm Tony Friday (click to read more) I've been a qualified driving instructor for the past 13 years, I've also been fortunate enough to work closly with the military and gain lots of additional qualifications through them, such as all my LGV licences, ADR licence (carriage of dangerous goods) Cross country driving instructor and skid car training. In resent years I took a year out to work with the Army, where I spent 6 months in Afghanistan teaching the troops how to drive in desert conditions.

On return I had a DVSA check test (now a 'standards check') click the link below to see the result.

With all this experience and knowledge, I intend to spend the next 15 years or so passing this on to the next generation of PDI's (Potential Driving Instructors) in Cornwall but mainly in Falmouth.
